Lily needed to take her mind off of some of the things that were going on in her life, dealing with Char as she liked to call him being bullied by his father for the fact that he was in Slytherin, to all the divorce things that she was having to go through with James so that she could finally get away from him and the things going on. She did not like the fact that they were having to go through this, but it was better then staying with a man that did not actually respect her and respect her son in the house that he had been put into. So today she had thought that she needed some time in the alley, she had the day off from Honeydukes and she thought that it would be nice to get something for her kids so that they could have some fun at school as well. So she knew that she had to make a stop in the Weasley twins shop as well.
She got to the well lit shop, it was such a nice place and she liked the way that it looked, it was silly and funny and she thought that it was a good thing to have. It was nice that Harry had done what he had done and so she knew that they were in good standing. She moved through the shop looking at one thing and another, finding what they made and did were amazing. She picked up something that she thought the kids would like when she saw Fred and she made her way over to him. "Hello Mr. Weasley." She said, a light smile on her face as she watched his shop, and was being kind in all of this.

Fred was working in the shop while George caught up on some sleep it was rare they were apart especially when working. He looked around at people there, he smiled at a few and he gave prices on things he even had a few Puffskeins in the corner for sale and he was also selling some new tricks as he watched someone approaching with red hair, she was kind of cute but he pushed that thought down. He didn't need to make more red headed Weasley's he laughed inwardly at his own thought up joke.
"Hello, Mrs. Potter what can I get for you?" He asked as he looked at her he was nearly ready to pay back his loan and he knew that would be important he wondered if Harry would do take it so he'd give his family a discount unlike his own. "You seem a bit upset might I suggest a laughing draught?" He said as he held it up and the thing looked like it was laughing in the liquid. He was amused and ready to help her out as he knew that hard times happened.

Lily smiled a little bit as she shifted a bit, she did not know if he or the others in his family knew about what was going on between her and James because of the fact that Harry was close to their family and everything. She pushed some of her hair back as she was thinking about what she was going to say, not sure what she was thinking at the moment. "Well I am looking for some things to send to the kids at school, something that they would have a lot of fun playing with in the school and such." She said as she looked at the different things on the shelves and all. Lily wanted to get them something that would be happy in the end, and forget some of the bad things going on.
"Oh its.. its nothing/" She said pushing a smile on to her face, trying to get herself to seem happy again, though it had been a long time since she had actually been happy. "You well, I do not know if you know what is going on between James and I, its just been hard and i hate putting the kids through this." She said as she rubbed her eyes, it had been a long time since she had a good nights sleep and it was really starting to show.

Fred looked at her and smiled gently, he was eager to help her. He wanted to make a new sale here with her after all he enjoyed his business he really did like this. "I can offer this." He said as he handed her some candy quills and then a few other candies. "Unless you wanted some of our skipping school specials?" He asked as he waved to them and then showed her other toys that he had on sale for those going to school.
"It is something Mrs. Potter." He said softly as he looked at her then sighed as he looked at her. "But you have to take care of yourself and if James is mistreating you then clearly you're doing right by you by leaving." He added to her since he'd grown up a bit since graduating.

"Well, I think I will take a little bit of each of them, because I can send some of them to the kids when I think that they need something to make them laugh. I have always loved your shop and was very glad that it was able to come to pass." She said as she shifted some as she looked at him nodding her head. "Please dont call me that, just call me Lily everyone does and I am just fine with that." She was trying to put his mind at ease for some o the things that were going on there as well. She wanted Fred to know that she was not mad or going to yell or anything that was going to happen with that.
"I hope so. I hope that in the end everyone sees that i had to do the things that i had to do for the kids and for myself as well." She sighed as she pulled out her pouch. "How much for the things that I have picked out?" She asked as she was going to pay so that she would eat one of the candy quills and calm her nerves down.

"All right." Fred said as he started bagging up the order for her as he looked at the woman and very much glad to still have his job and his business. "I'm just glad we got the money, grateful for that loan by the way. We will pay it back as soon as we've got the money for it, which should be soon we'll have enough to pay back your family." He said to her as he and George had been gifted a loan by Harry but they still knew that Lily was in the know about the galleons that Harry had given them to start their business and they were eager to prove it was going well.
"You did, Lily you really did. Protect yourself and your children they come first, they are more important than anything else." He said to her with a grin as he looked at her then told her the total of the things she'd bought and then leaned back. "Would you like to see the development room? We've been working on some new more serious items just to add on to the business." He said to her with a grin.

"What did I tell you, you dont have to worry about paying that back, we wanted to get you guys started, and we want to see you all grow in this." She said but smiled as she always had believed in the boys and that made her feel good. "You guys are doing so amazing, the way that you are pulling things off, the people that are always so happy that come in and out of the shop. This place is always bright and happy and that, that is way more important to me and to Harry as well." She was always going to be that way for them, always happy that they were doing so well in the end.
She pulled out the gold for the things that she was getting and then pulled out one of the quills and started to chew on it as he was talking. She knew that he was right that she had done the right thing to get away from James, but it still hurt some. "Sure I would love to see what you guys have going." She said as she was eager to know what they were working on now.

"We do have to eventually. It's how we were raised and besides we want to show that our business is doing well." He said to her gently he was doing his best to spend time with his customers and keeping an eye on others. "We do our best to make it a good store to be in, we want this to be the kind of place people go because they want to not because they have to." He said to her as he smiled at the woman that had helped them get started.
"Thank you." He said to her as he smiled gnetly then nodded, "Don't worry I'll prank James good the next time he comes in." Fred said with a mischevious glint to his eye as he smiled at her and he was already planning things to do to the man who would dare abuse his wife. |

"Alright, alright, if that is the way that you feel on it. Then I will stop the fight back about it, I dont want you to feel offended." Lily smiled softly as she moved over a pat on the shoulder so that he knew that it was going to be alright. She looked at the others, and was kind of helping him to keep an eye on the other people that were in there, she after all worked in a shop as well so she knew what it was to do that. "And it is working out well, I know that the shop will be around for generations to come. It has a little bit of everything for a lot of people, oh and I will need to come in soon again to get some of the puffs." She said as she laughed softly thinking that it would be fun to get them for her kids.
"Oh good." There were so many things in her mind of what she wanted to do to that man, she wanted to do something mean to James, though she knew that she should not stoup to his level. She sighed as she sucked on the quill a moment longer. "How are your sibling that are still at school Ron and Ginny?" She liked finding out about everyone so that everything would be alright.
