Artemis smiled as she watched Theo playing with the golden ball she was given to let him play with, she was eager to let him just be. After all he was gift from Newton and she smiled when he shoved it in the pouch then it vanished from there to the ground and the Niffler started chasing it again trying to catch the shiny ball. He wanted it damn it! The ball rolled right into the foot of someone and he chattered as their foot was on the golden ball and he wanted the ball now give him the ball as he looked up chattering angrily at the person for standing on his ball.
Artemis walked over and then saw it was someone from another house and got awkward, "Hi umm..you're standing on Theo's ball." She said softly her voice barely audible as she spoke.

Castor sighed, his brother was off with the people that he knew, and Castor once again was on his own, getting to know the castle still and all the things that went on there. People still bothered him, so being outside away from people that would not ask him about his father, and about what happened to his mother was the best. He had his bag with him so that he could work on some homework once he found the best place that he could sit down out there. His mind was in a fog and he did not know that he had come upon someone until the little creature was chattering at him.
"Oh." He said when the girl was telling him that he was standing on Theo's ball and he moved his foot. "I am so sorry." He said quickly as he moved so that the thing could get his ball. "I dont want to come off rude, but what is he? It is a he is it not?" He asked unsure of what he was looking at.

Artemis felt rather awkward as she looked at the First Year and smiled gently, he was somewhat familiar wasn't he one of the Black Twins? She was puzzled for a few moments before she smiled slightly when he reacted to being on Theo's ball. The instant it was free Theo took off after it again, she smiled watching him.
"It's ok thank you for moving. I'm Artemis and that's Theo." She said softly as she looked at him, "Want to sit with me?" She asked as Dav poked his head out from her collar to see that she was talking to a boy and the Bowtruckle retreated again. But for a few moments he'd been visible in her shirt collar now though she was looking at him trying not to let him see the claw scars that covered her face from working with baby dragons.

"Nice to meet you, my names Castor." He was being polite if not a little awkward about the whole situation to begin with. He watched the little creature running around and chasing the little gold ball. "Sure I will sit." He said as he also saw the little other creature that was hiding in her shirt as well. He had to blink about this a little more, she was one of the older students, so maybe it was something that the older kids got to do, work with some of the other creatures that were in the area? He did not know, but he was going to ask about it.
"So what is Theo? I don't think i have ever seen something like him before. Also what is the little thing that is hiding in your shirt collar as well?" He was very calm in the things that he was saying, not wanting to say something wrong or say something that would get her mad at him about. He liked though that he as getting to meet someone new out here, well new to him.

"Nice to meet you Castor." She said as she smiled at him, she wasn't sure why Dav had poked out but he had and now she was going to have to talk about him too. She wanted to know him more but would he accept her and her creatures? Would he be another of those that tried to drive her off.
"Theo is a Niffler." She told him softly then paused and pulled him out, "This is Dav." He then blew a raspberry at the new guy. He didn't like meeting new people and this guy was something else. "He's a bit rude with new people don't mind him, Dav don't be rude." She told him gently as Dav stood staring at Castor daring him to try and hurt Artemis.
Theo ran over as he shoved the ball in his pouch and stood proudly having caught it, "Here in a second he'll realize it's escaped again." She said softly to him as indeed Theo noticed the ball magically rolling away from him again and he chattered irritatedly at it as he went after it once more.

"Nice to meet you as well." He was watching the Niffler as he was running around and chasing the ball as he laughed some. "Ohhh so that is what a Niffler looks like. He is very cute and I think that he really likes chasing around that ball." He said as he was watching as he shifted his bag down so that it was out of the way and he was not having it in the way of his arms. "I have always wanted to see one, I know that they are going to show us them when I do eventually get to Magical Creatures class, for now though its nice to get to meet one." He smiled off.
"But I think i know that one a Bowtrickle right?" He then smiled and showed that he was going to be good and he was not going to hurt anyone. "They protect wand trees, they are very cool creatures." He was quiet excited but he was keeping his energy low. "Oh its a magic ball." He laughed softly watching it roll off again. "My mom..." He stopped and then looked down as he went quiet and pulled out one of his pads of paper and a pencil and was drawing, it was what he did when memories came back.

"I'm not sure how sociable Theo will be." She said as she watched her Niffler happily and enjoying having a companion that wasn't being weird and had the same energy as her when it came to her creatures after all she had to keep them safe. "It's shiny and it's made from gold so he wants it badly" She said to him as she looked at the other youngster. "They will eventually but aren't you a Black? Wouldn't you have already seen magical creatures?" She asked softly as she looked at him puzzled.
"Yeah Dav is a Bowtruckle." She told him with a grin and then he raspberry'd him again not trusting him as she gently held him up to her face. "Be nice please?" She asked gently as Theo chased the ball once more and he almost caught it till it rolled away. She laughed as Theo tripped and landed beak over ass on the ground, "You're ok Theo." She told him softly as he squawked at her to save him. |

"Well, you see i have seen some, but i dont remember a lot about a lot of things, so i may have seen some things i dont remember sometimes. When dad took us to live with Uncle Remus and then dad just left us i blocked out a lot." He said as he shrugged some, but he was just happy to meet some of the creatures that she had with her and it made him feel that he was not to strange to be the way that he was. "They like shinny things and things made of gold, they build their nests out of it so that the little ones always know it." He belted out a little as he drew Theo running around.
"He is really cool, and dont worry Dav im not going to do anything, besides she knows more then i do in a lot of this, i just got here." He said softly as he smiled some about things. He shifted as he was making the picture of Theo as he lisened to her. "He is sweet." He said smiiling.

"I have seen a fair amount I do a lot of studying and I want to be good with animals. Uncle Remus..That wouldn't be Remus Lupin would it? One of the few known werewolves that don't cause problems? My grandfather knew of him so I do too cause I listenw hen Grandfather talks." She said to him as she watched Theo carefully making sure to keep an eye on the Niffler. "Yes they do and Theo is no exception in my trunk he has a nest he made in the corner of it and if I mess with that corner he gets nippy." She told him honestly and with a gentle smile.
"Dav was bullied off his tree and decided he liked me better than his own kind. It helps that I'm sweet to them and I treat them kindly. Theo is the child of my grandfather's famous Niffler Teddy, that Niffler has gotten my grandfather into more scrapes than he really talks about. But Theo seems more interested in making me friends." She said honestly to the man with a smile as she knew that she was talking a lot about the creatures.

"I would love to work with animals and creatures one day, or do something wth food and sweets like Aunt Lily, she works at Honeydukes." He said then nodded his head a lot. "Yeah that would be Uncle Remus. He does not like it when the others act up, he says all he wants to do is life his quiet life, with the job that he has and helping take care of me and my brother. I think that there is something more like he loves my father, and more then just the fact that they have been best friends since their first year and all." He said as he worked on the picture and then laughed about the fact that Theo was picky about his nest in her trunk. "That sounds really cute actually, to see him throwing a little fit." Castor chuckled a little bit.
"Aww." He said hearing about Dav being bullied off of his tree. "Well he found an amazing person that cares to hang out with more then the ones that were in the tree." He said as he pulled out some of the colored pencils as he was adding in the colors for the picture. "Oh, oh I have heard about Teddy, wow that is honestly very amazing, you have had a lot of adventure then with your grandfather then?" He asked as he then finished the picture and showed her that it was Theo chasing the golden ball in the grass as he handed it to her. "Here you go." He smiled.

"Animals are great I know I love mine at home and here, I wanted to bring my pygmy Spotted Nundu Speckles but Grandfather said that would get me in trouble since Nundu's are very protective and even a Pygmy is that protective. I'm not really into sweets all that much." She told him truthfully, "Well he probably does love your dad." She said to him as she looked at him, she was happy enough to talk with him. "It is you'll have to see it sometime." She told him as she looked at the man.
"Yes he did." She said to him as she smiled at the man then laughed softly, "He's been with me since he was bullied." She told him. "I have had a few he even let me see a Quiliin once." She added as she smiled at the other young man. "I haven't gone on one for a while." She told him with a slight grin as she took the picture. "Hey Theo. Someone drew you." She said to him as she spoke he came running and held out his paw for it.

"Yeah they are nice, they do seem to understand us more then other humans understand us. That i guess is why I get along with Uncle Remus for well, not saying that he is an animal and all, but there is that quiet connection that we are going through when dealing with my father and everything." He really wanted to see his father again, it had been three years and he still woke up crying for him, no matter how hard he was trying to get himself over this. "But i do not want to piss him off first." He laughed softly as he turned and was working on the picture as he thought that t was nice that he had someone that he could talk to and not worry about having to be someone that he is not.
He nodded his head as they were talking, he was talking about Teddy and her going on some of the adventures that her grandfather had been on and she had been on some of them as well. "Well he is in good hands, and away from the bullies that were bothering him then." Castor smiled off as he shifted then had handed her the picture. He was a good artist, if he thought he could do it for work then he would as he loved to work with art. "I hope that you like it Theo." He said happily.

"They really do I prefer creatures to people..well most people." She said with a smile as she looked at him. "Well Werewolves can be animals but they're really sweet most of the time most I meet tend to just want to be left alone." She told him softly a she looked at the other person with a gentle smile.
Theo looked at it carefully rolled it up and shoved it in his pouch with a pleased chitter as he walked over to Castor and sat down on his leg as he chattered at him. He was showing his acceptance of the gift that he'd been given and showing he wanted more down as he tugged his pant leg then he ran over and held his golden ball clearly posing. He was showing off that he wanted another done with this pose and looked at him with hope in his eyes.

"Yes that is true, a lot of the times Uncle Remus just wants to work in his garden or when he has to go to work he does something that is very low key, something in the muggle world I think, am not sure there." Castor was always happy to learn new things and being around his uncle was one of the best things out there, because he was so calm and he would tell him stories about his father and all the things that they used to do when they would hand out together as kids at Hogwarts as well. "I think they understand us more then we think that we know, that is just something that i feel." He added trying to put into words how his brain was.
"Oh!" Castor laughed softly as he could see that Theo was asking him to do more pictures of him in a pose as he nodded his head some. "Ok hold still." He pulled his paper out and was doing another one of Theo in that position as well. "I do love art, so this is nice." He said as he did this one up just as nice as the first one as he handed it then to Theo when he was done. "The mighty Theo and his golden ball." He said happy.
