It was a bright sunny Saturday, George looked out the window of the apartment that he shared with Fred as he got himself put together. He was going to go see if there way any way that they could take over the old Zonkos shop so that they could put a branch of the shop in Hogsmeade so that they could do more work with the kids. That is what George was thinking as he had pulled himself together to get ready and go. He walked in to the bathroom, did his hair, then checked on Fred who was still sleeping. He sighed softly as he said nothing and left a note for him so that he knew where he had gone off to. He grabbed the briefcase and then left.
He got to Hogsmeade, went and talked to the owner of the shop and then smiled, he worked his magic, the way that he was a working man, and that they would take care of the old shop in the way that they were gong to make it a better place for the town. After a while he had the papers sighed, he knew that Fred was going to be happy to know that he had gotten them the shop that they had wanted for some time now. He shoved the papers away and thought, he needed a drink now that would be good.
He walked out of the shop and was making his way down to the Three Broomsticks, he was not paying attention when he ran into someone, then laughed when he saw who it was. "hey Mags what you doing out here? Is it one of the Hogsmeade weekends?" He asked with a grin.

She had just finished her talk with her mother and had a lot to think on. She no longer felt the fights were her fault. But she still needed to find a way to talk to her siblings and close the rift between them. She heard a voice, and it broke her out of her thought, and she turned to look at the voice's direction. seeing George, she gets a bit flustered as she hadn't thought she would see him here yet. "Oh, hey George I was just visiting mom she works at Honeydukes. What about you I didn't expect to see you here?" She was telling the truth he was graduated he didn't think she would see him other than visits to his mothers or Diagon Ally.

George was quiet happy with the work that they had been doing with getting ther name out there more.
That was when he heard a loud rumble as lighting streaked through the sky. George brought out an umbrella and sighed some. "And the weather had been so nice, hey why dont you join me for something to drink and then i can walk you back to the school so that you dont get wet to much?" He offered to her.[/blockquote |

'Too late for that my ginger puppy.' She thinks before blushing and shaking her head. 'No bad girl down sit.' She nods and grabs his hand leading him to Hog's Head. "Two Butter Bears please booth 5." She says as she brings him to the booth and sits

George smiled, she looked as though she was thinking about a lot of things, maybe that talk that she had with her mother was kind of rough of something on her. He smiled some as he was going to say something else when she had grabbed onto him and they went to the Hog's Head bar, one of the ones that was more out of the way, maybe there was a reason for this? He got himself sat down as she had gone and gotten the drinks, he dried off his umbrella and sat it down on the seat as he watched her come and sit down with him. "Thank you." He said as he smiled at her. "You seem to have a lot on your mind care to talk?" He asked as he reached over and pushed her hair back some.

She looks at him then down. "You know how my mother and father are divorced now. Well, I've been feeling for a long time now that it was my fault. My own siblings have been acting different towards me to. I needed to talk to her, but it's left me with more questions than answers." She says as she takes a sip of her drink, she chose this place as it's the least likely that anyone will know them. A place she can let it out and only he will truly see her. The one person other than her mother she felt would never judge her.

"Well I know for a fact that it is not your fault, not unless you turned in to your father, and was beating your mother and beating your younger brother for being gay." He said as he knew the whole story of everything that was going on in her family, he was after all a very close friend to Lily anyways. "So that is something that you ever have to worry about pip, as for your brothers, they still love you they are just getting older and other things are coming into their lives. I should know I have five of them and a sister." He poked her nose some. "So you need to take all this self doubt and shove it out of your head, because none of what is going on is your fault, now lets move on to something that will make you happy ok?" He wanted to get her out of this self hate shit and onto something better.

She grabs his hand and holds it between both her hands. Looking at it as she smiles through some tears, he always knows what to say to her. What did she do to deserve such a man in her life. She laughs 'Oh yeah I was a prankster at heart hehehehe.' She thinks to herself as she rubs circles on his hand with her thumb. Then out of well she doesn't know she brought her hand toward her face and kisses his hand lightly. She realizes what she just did and tries to hide her face behind her drink and hands. Wishing to apparate out of the building back to her house common room but can't do so on school grounds.

George was glad to see that she was starting to come around to the fact that she was alright, that she was going to be ok and he was there to make sure that she had the things that she was going to need as well. He chuckled a moment when she had kissed his hands and was then so shy about things after words, he had a feeling that she had a crush on him, but he had not said anything to her about it because it was kind of cute, and he would allow that to stay, there was no way and nothing in this world that he would say at the moment to break her heart with the way that he is and all.
He reached over and took a hold of her hand again and held it close as he then leaned over and kissed her cheek as he smiled at her. "You are sweet and brave, and should never fear to go after the things that you want, and that you know will make you happy." He said softly as he touched her face again, wanting her to understand that she was brave and strong and she should take life by the seat o the pants.

She looks at him when he takes her hand and giggles when he kisses her cheek. The smile she has on her face is so bright her eyes sparkle. Though that could be her tears left over too she laughs in her own mind. "Thank you, George you always know what to say to me. I know I'm acting a little clingy, but I swear I'll tell you later why. Please be patient with me." She wanted to tell him now, but she knew a relationship right now would be unfair with her mental state for the time being. It wouldn't be fair to him.

George smiled as he nodded his head and just held onto her hand, it was the simple things that he could do to make sure she was going to calm down and be better. "Don't worry Mags, when you are ready to tell me you will, but not a moment sooner or later then what it is that you want to be saying." He told her as he rubbed her hand a little bit and was taking his time to be as well. He turned his head as he looked out the window as the rain was coming down hard and the thunder rumbled through the air as the cracks of lighting were bright. "Wow this storm is really rough." He said as he sighed some. "Maybe they will bring down the carriages to pick you all up with so you dont have to walk in this." He told her as he looked at the storm that was blowing up.

She smiles and cuddles into him. Using her coat as a blanket. Her mom would be coming to take her to the house in a bit as she would be staying with her mom for the weekend. "Stay with me like this just tonight please" She asks him vulnerably. He was one of the few she could be vulnerable with.

George looked at her a moment a she seemed to be cuddling into him as he sighed softly as he wrapped an arm around her and held her close. "Sure, I dont have to go home until later tonight." He did not know her mother would be coming or her soon, so he was just going to keep her close to him as he wanted her happy. He then remembered a song that Molly used to sing to them wen they were younger, as he tried it a bit, to sing the little song that he knew and kept himself calm as well as he was dealing with her and did not know what he was feeling at the moment other then peaceful.

She loved cuddling into George he was warm, and she felt safe and protected. He smelled of chocolates glue saw bust and so much else probably from his shop with Fred. his chest was firm and very comfortable and absentmindedly her hand drifted and caressed down his stomach going under his shirt. "I'm cold my ginger puppy." She says as an excuse a drowsy un thought one at that as the lullaby was making her tired. before she falls asleep and as her brain was shutting off, she quietly mutters "I love you"

George laughed softly at her reactions as he held onto her, something about the way that she was just kind of put him in a soft spot and made him feel things that he knew that he should not, but also a little bit of sadness, not for her, but for himself some things just seemed to happen around him and he never got the good end of the stick with any of it. He shifted a little, giggled when she called him her ginger puppy and felt her hands, he would not move her she was tired and he wanted her to sleep and rest. He blinked softly as he leaned down kissing the top of her head. "Love you to mags." He said to her as he just held her, and let her rest there with him.
